Robert Lustig is an American pediatric endocrinologist and author of Fat Chance: Beating the Odds against Sugar, Processed Food, Obesity, and Disease. A professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Endocrinology at the University of California, San Francisco, where he specializes in neuroendocrinology and childhood obesity, his 2009 lecture, “Sugar: The Bitter Truth,” has been viewed over 7.3 million times on Youtube. His new book is The Hacking of the American Mind: The Science Behind the Corporate Takeover of Our Bodies and Brains.
